The use of a fire pump is used to pump or suck water from a water reservoir to be distributed to the hydrant pipe and then distributed to the hydrant pillar for outdoor and hydrant valve for indoor. This fire pump is used by the fire brigade team when a fire occurs. Usually a fire pump takes a minimum of 30 minutes to be able to flow water throughout the hydrant pipe and can be used to extinguish fires.
